The Salem RidgeYaks rebrand celebrates the intersection of sport, community, and the great outdoors. Learfield Creative partnered with the club to craft a full-scale identity system that captures the adventurous spirit of Southwest Virginia—anchored by a rugged yak mascot that nods to both the region’s waterways and the enduring strength of its people. Inspired by the Blue Ridge landscape, the visual language combines trail-ready textures, hand-carved type forms, and a vibrant palette of sunset gold, mountain blue, and classic red. The result is a brand built to inspire exploration—on the field, on the water, and across the Ridge.
