The RGV Collection celebrates men’s basketball coach Shaka Smart and the mantra “Relationships. Growth. Victory.” The merchandise line celebrates these core values which has become a key component of the Marquette men’s basketball program. Learfield Creative worked with MU and Smart to create a family of marks that include nods to the basketball program through Marquette’s traditional jersey blocking, domino dots that represent the idea of a domino effect where hard work is contagious, and those dots forming a three and two for Smart’s number when he was a player.
